MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is aware of the criminal case opened against former journalist and advisor to the Roscosmos head Ivan Safronov, but the president cannot follow all details of this case, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
When asked whether Safronov's case is in the Kremlin's spotlight, Peskov said, "No, it isn't. As you know, this case is being investigated using a special procedure due to the charges brought."
"The president is aware of this case, but he can't follow all nuances of the ongoing investigation," he said.
When asked about the specific charges brought against Safronov and details of his case, Peskov said, "I can't give you this information. I don't have it either."
