Determination of Nagorno-Karabakh status is Armenia's priority - PM Pashinyan

YEREVAN. Nov 12 (Interfax) - The international recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh and the determination of its status are the priority of Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"The ultimate resolution of the Karabakh issue and the status of Artsakh have crucial significance. Our stance is unwavering, and the international recognition of Artsakh becomes a priority. We have even weightier reasons for that nowadays," Pashinyan said in his address to the nation on Thursday.

In his words, the Russian peacekeepers stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh provide safe and uninterrupted communication between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh through the Lachin corridor, "including the Shushi area."

"The Russian peacekeepers are providing security of the borders, as well as security within those borders. Karabakh residents should return home, and we will do our best to repair the damage as soon as possible," Pashinyan said
