MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Moscow is not expecting a drastic change on the Russian track of U.S. foreign policy if Joe Biden wins the presidential election, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"Truth be told, our political scientists are not expecting any revolutionary change on the Russian track, and I fully agree with them," Lavrov said at a press conference on Thursday.
The election has shown that America is divided, and the policy maintained on the Russian track could become a unifying factor, Lavrov said.
"The initial presentation of what the foreign policy might be like in the event of Joseph Biden's inauguration indicates its similarity to the canons promoted by President Obama," Lavrov said.
