Karabakh conflict settled, but long path to peace ahead - Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia

MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Baku believes the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh has been settled, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said on Thursday.

"I believe it has," Bulbuloglu told journalists in Moscow on Thursday, when asked whether Azerbaijan believes the conflict has been settled now.

"Certainly, it'll take time, and it'll take a lot of common efforts" to bring peace to the region, he said.

"Let's not deceive ourselves that all of this will fall into place in a month or two. It's a lengthy process, and perhaps it's a painful process in some respects. But there is only one path, and it's a path to peace, wellbeing, and prosperity," Bulbuloglu said.
