MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has confirmed a meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group in Moscow on Wednesday.
"On the part of Russia, the meeting is to be held by Ambassador-at-Large Igor Popov," the ministry said.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said earlier that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs would gather in Moscow for consultations on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Last week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov invited the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs from the United States and France to discuss those countries' role in achieving a longstanding political settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem after the conclusion of a ceasefire agreement.
