MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak to keep in mind the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh residents' preparedness for winter whenever contacting the Armenian side.
"Vice Premier Alexander Valentinovich Novak is taking part in our work. I'm not asking you to present any reports right now. I'm just drawing your attention to the fact that winter is coming. The area is mountainous after all. It's cold up there. Cold weather is close now. So in this case, these problems should be kept in mind whenever contacting the Armenian side. I'm asking you to pay attention to this," Putin said.
Putin asked Novak to report information on the matter separately later on.
