U.S. withdrawal from Open Skies Treaty makes it unviable - Peskov

MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax) - The Kremlin has said it regrets the U.S. withdrawal from the Treaty on Open Skies.

"We regret and believe that the U.S. withdrawal from this treaty makes this treaty no longer viable," Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

Peskov, who is quoted by the Govorit Moskva radio station, believes that the Treaty on Open Skies will be terminated.

The U.S. withdrawal procedure from the Treaty on Open Skies was officially completed last night.
