YEREVAN. Nov 23 (Interfax) - About 7,000 people have returned to their homes in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"As of today, almost 7,000 citizens have returned, this work continues, and I am sure that everyone who would like to return to Nagorno-Karabakh will be able to do so," Shoigu said at a meeting with Armenian Defense Minister Vagarshak Harutyunian on Saturday.
"Of course, now the issues of life in this region come to the fore - this applies to medicine, transport, energy, food. Therefore, today a delegation arrives in Yerevan, which is not engaged in military affairs, but our task is to ensure their safe operation," the minister said.
