Armenian emergency situations minister expects to prevent humanitarian disaster in Karabakh in cooperation with Russia

YEREVAN. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Armenian Emergency Situations Minister Andranik Piloyan and his Russian counterpart Yevgeny Zinichev discussed the opportunities to overcome the consequences of the war in Karabakh at a meeting in Yerevan on Saturday.

"The emergency situations ministers of Armenia and Russia discussed the reality which developed after the war and the opportunities to overcome the consequences of the war. Piloyan noted the importance of the Russian colleagues' readiness for efficient interaction and expressed hope that all the efforts to prevent a humanitarian disaster and return civilians to peaceful life will be made," the press service for the Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry said.

Representatives of the emergency situations ministries of Armenia and Russia discussed the details of working in humanitarian assistance discussed at a working meeting after the ministerial one, the press service said.
