MOSCOW. Nov 26 (Interfax) - The Moscow City Court has upheld the arrest of Aeroflot representative in the United Kingdom Dmitry Fedotkin on treason counts.
"Moscow's Lefortovsky District Court ruling of November 11, 2020, regarding Fedotkin is upheld, and the defense's appeal is dismissed," the Moscow City Court press service told Interfax on Thursday.
Fedotkin will stay under arrest until January 10, 2021.
Fedotkin has been arrested on treason counts.
The media said the day after his arrest that Fedotkin was serving as the Aeroflot representative in the United Kingdom and was suspected of cooperating with British intelligence.
The Aeroflot press service told Interfax that they have no information regarding the detention and arrest of such employee.
The Federal Security Service, which is holding the investigation, has offered no comment.
Materials in the criminal proceeding are classified.
