Russian parliamentarians to discuss legal issues relating to activities in space

MOSCOW. Nov 30 (Interfax) - The Federation Council Foreign Affairs Committee in mid December will discuss with Roscosmos, Russian Defense Ministry and Russian Foreign Ministry officials the legal regulation of space exploration in regards to the most recent U.S. initiatives.

"This roundtable meeting will be held on December 14," the committee's head Konstantin Kosachyov said at the committee meeting on Monday.

The meeting participants, comprising top Roscosmos, Russian Defense Ministry and Russian Foreign Ministry officials, intend to "discuss the legal regulation of space exploration and use of outer space, while taking into account the recent unilateral U.S. initiatives."
