Karabakh president announces readiness to form 'administration of national accord'

YEREVAN. Dec 1 (Interfax) - President of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Arayik Harutyunyan has announced the start of political consultations potentially aimed at "forming an administration of national accord."

"During this immensely difficult period for our homeland, I have started political consultations with the political and public circles to discuss the current challenges and plans for the future. Based on their provisional results, I see the opportunity [...] to form an administration of national accord in order to concentrate all of our efforts for the sake of the security and development of our homeland," Harutyunyan wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

Harutyunyan said that he will cooperate with all those ready to contribute to the development of Nagorno-Karabakh.

"I call on everyone to put aside ambitions and to create our future together," he said.
