Possible deliveries of 3 Russian Covid-19 vaccines to CSTO states being considered - Putin

MOSCOW. Dec 2 (Interfax) - The possibility of deliveries of all of Russia's three coronavirus vaccines to the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and possible joint production of the vaccines in these states are being discussed, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"The CSTO member states have developed the closest interaction as part of the fight against this infection and have extended and continue to extend assistance and support to each other. Specifically, Russia has supplied its allies in the CSTO with medical equipment, other devices, test systems, and personal protective equipment," Putin said at a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

Groups of Russian medics and epidemiologists have also worked in the CSTO member countries, he said.

"Issues concerning deliveries of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V to the CSTO states and its possible joint production in your countries, my dear colleagues, are currently being considered. This is also true for the other two [Russian] vaccines, including EpiVacCorona, which has been registered as well," the president said.
