MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - The first batch of coronavirus vaccines has been delivered to Kaliningrad by military-transport aircraft of Russia's Baltic Fleet.
"Some 3,000 vaccine sets will be delivered to the Baltic Fleet in special thermal containers for the vaccination of military doctors and personnel," the Baltic Fleet said in a report released on Friday.
"Military doctors and civilian personnel at the military hospital working with coronavirus patients at the multifunctional center of the Russian Defense Ministry in Kaliningrad are already undergoing vaccination," the report said.
The command of the fleet, the crews of ships preparing for long hauls, and personnel on combat duty will be vaccinated later, it said.
"The healthcare workers who are administering the vaccines have undergone additional training," the report said.
