MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - One in two Russians (53%) think that there exists a threat of an international military conflict involving the use of nuclear weapon, with those aged 46-60 accounting for nearly two-thirds (63%) of such respondents, according to the findings of a Public Opinion Foundation poll obtained by Interfax on Monday.
The survey found that 37% of Russians think such a threat emanates primarily from the United States; three percent said from NATO; and two percent cited the United Kingdom.
The existence of such threat was dismissed by over a third (39%), with those aged 18-30 accounting for more than half of respondents (55%).
Eight percent did not have an opinion about the matter, the pollster said.
The nationwide poll was conducted among 1,000 adults on November 20-22.
