MINSK. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has approved a plan of engagement of the regional group of forces, which will be presented for consideration by the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Belarusian state-run news agency BelTA said.
"The relevant work has also been done in Russia. Now the plan of engagement of the regional group of forces will be presented at a meeting of the Union State's Supreme State Council," the news agency quoted Belarusian General Staff Chief Alexander Volfovich as saying.
Volfovich and Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin briefed Lukashenko on the proposals regarding the plan of engagement of the Belarusian-Russian regional group of forces.
