One dies, 2 injured in mine explosion in Agdam district - Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office

BAKU. Dec 14 (Interfax) - One person died and another two suffered injuries as they hit a mine in the village of Shahbulag in the Agdam district, which was handed over to Azerbaijan under the ceasefire deal that ended hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The incident happened in the evening of December 13. The antipersonnel mine blew up under the feet of an Azerbaijani serviceman and two villagers born in 1984 and 1990, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office and Interior Ministry said in a joint statement.

One villager died, and the serviceman and the other villager were injured.
