Alarming situation in Karabakh 'rapidly contained' - Peskov

MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - An alarming situation had actually happened in Nagorno-Karabakh but it was rapidly contained, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in his comments on ceasefire violations in the region.

"True, there was an alarming situation, but it was rapidly contained," Peskov told reporters on Monday.

"The information is actually in short supply. We [the Kremlin] are monitoring. Indeed, this is an additional load on our peacekeepers. Contacts were established promptly. This is the only information we can provide at the moment," he said in response to the relevant question.
