MINSK. Dec 14 (Interfax) - As many as 271 people were detained after Sunday's protests in Belarus and are pending trial, the Interior Ministry.
"In all, 271 people were detained across the country yesterday for violating the law on mass events and were put in detention facilities until courts hear their cases opened on administrative offenses," according to a statement published on the Belarusian Interior Ministry's website on Monday.
