Russian plane to bring 1st group of Armenian POWs from Azerbaijan soon - Pashinyan

YEREVAN. Dec 15 (Interfax) - More than 40 prisoners of war are returning to Yerevan from Azerbaijan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"Forty-four of our POWs will soon return to Yerevan on board a Russian aircraft," Pashinyan said on Facebook.

Earlier on Monday, Pashinyan's spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan said on Facebook, "Waiting for the return of the first group of our POWs."

Earlier, Azerbaijan's State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons said that Armenia and Azerbaijan had begun exchanging POWs and hostages under the all-for-all principle.
