Ukraine to propose TCG consider several matters, including another 4 disengagement areas in Donbas at meetings on Dec 15-16

KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on settlement in Donbas has proposed several issues for discussion at the next TCG meeting on December 15-16, including the release of held persons and free access to them for international humanitarian organizations.

Ukraine has also proposed discussing unblocking the operation of checkpoints at the line of separation and the issue of free and unhindered access for the Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for the Security and Cooperation in Europe to any places throughout Ukraine, the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG said in a statement on Facebook.

It has also proposed finalizing agreements on 19 demining areas and another four disengagement areas.

The TCG political, humanitarian, economic, and security subgroups are due to meet on Tuesday, December 15, and a TCG general meeting is slated for Wednesday, December 16, it said.
