MOSCOW. Dec 21 (Interfax) - The Russian nuclear triad has reached a level that guarantees the provision of national security, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"The share of modern weapons and hardware exceeded 70% in the Russian Armed Forces by mid-December 2020. That's the level of general-purpose forces. It reaches 86% in the nuclear forces. Hence, our army and, most importantly, the nuclear triad have reached a level that guarantees Russia's security," Putin said at an expanded meeting of the Russian Defense Ministry's board on Monday.
