BAKU. Dec 28 (Interfax) - One Azerbaijani military serviceman has been killed and another wounded in an attack on an Azerbaijani military unit in the village of Agdam in the Khojavend district, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"As a result of the attack, a serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army, soldier Ganbarov Elmir Rayil, was killed and soldier Aliyev Emin Suleyman has been injured," the ministry said.
A group of six people assaulted the Azerbaijani unit on December 27.
"As a result of the actions taken, all six members of the illegal Armenian armed group were annihilated," it said.
The ministry warned that, if such an incident happens again, "the Azerbaijan Army will take firm measures," it said.
