Working group led by deputy PMs of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia to unblock economic relations, transportation - Putin

MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - A trilateral working group led by deputy prime ministers from Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan will undertake efforts to unblock economic relations, trade, and transportation in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as reopen borders, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"The task of unblocking economic relations, trade, and transportation in the region and reopening the borders deserves a special mention," Putin said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday.

"An ad hoc trilateral working group co-chaired by deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia is due to address those issues," he said.
