MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested to the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan specifying at their meeting in Moscow the status of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
"I think it's important today to first of all plan further steps on the key settlement tracks outlined in the joint statement of November 9. I mean the issues associated with the activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, the specification of demarcation lines, the solution of humanitarian problems, and the protection of cultural heritage sites," Putin said during the talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
