MOSCOW. Jan 13 (Interfax) - The Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS)'s Space Council has listened to a report by Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin and recommended that the development of a super-heavy launch vehicle (LV) for lunar missions be delayed.
Following the reports by Rogozin and NPO Lavochkin Deputy General Designer Ivan Moskatinyev, the Council recommended that the RAS administration and Roscosmos "call on the president to adjust the state space program for the period until 2030 regarding a delay in the development of the super-heavy launch vehicle," the Council said in its resolution.
