MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - The Moscow Prosecutor's Office has warned people calling for organizing a public event at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport, where opposition activist Alexei Navalny is due to arrive on Sunday, that any public event would be unacceptable.
"The Internet, particularly social networking websites, published information containing a call to attend a public event at Vnukovo Airport on January 17, 2021. The said event has not been authorized by executive authorities of the city of Moscow in accordance with the law," a representative of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office told Interfax.
On Friday, "in order to prevent possible violations of law during public events, 15 individuals calling for attending a public event were warned of the unacceptability of law violation," the representative said.
