FSIN files for Navalny's incarceration - lawyer

MOSCOW. Jan 18 (Interfax) - The motion for arrest of opposition activist Alexei Navalny will be processed on Monday; the court hearing will take place at a police station in Khimki, Moscow region, Navalny's lawyer Vadim Kobzev told Interfax.

"We have just been notified that a judge from the Khimki Town Court will hear the motion for incarceration of Alexei Anatolyevich Navalny on the premises of Station No. 2 of the Russian Interior Ministry's department in Khimki," Kobzev said.

The motion has been filed by the Moscow branch of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN), and the hearing will begin within minutes, he said.
