Court sentences MSU graduate student Miftakhov to 6 years in penal colony for setting fire to United Russia office

MOSCOW. Jan 18 (Interfax) - The Golovinsky District Court of Moscow has sentenced Azat Miftakhov, a graduate student at the Moscow State University, to six years in a penal colony in the case involving an attack on the office of the United Russia party in Moscow's Khovrino neighborhood.

"Miftakhov is sentenced to six years in a general-security penal colony," Judge Sergei Bazarov said.
