MOSCOW. Jan 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planning contacts with outgoing United States President Donald Trump or incoming President Joe Biden's team, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"No contacts are planned thus far. They may take place, but there are no planned contacts on the president's schedule for now," Peskov told journalists on Tuesday, when asked whether Putin plans to say goodbye to Trump in any format.
Nor is the Russian president planning any contacts with U.S. President-elect Joe Biden's team yet, Peskov said.
"No, not yet. You know that they're having some problems there in the United States, and so they're definitely dealing with their own problems at home now," Peskov said when asked about Putin's possible contacts with Biden's team.
