MOSCOW. Jan 20 (Interfax) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has described as a formal response the protocols provided by Germany from the questioning of Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny.
"We received nothing. In fact, this is a mere formal response," Peskov told journalists on Wednesday, when commenting on the provision of the relevant materials by Germany.
"We have received nothing serious that could help our investigation," he said.
The protocols do not contain any technical, technological, or scientific information about the toxins allegedly found in Navalny's system, Peskov said.
Journalists also asked Peskov whether the police would study the information from the conclusion drawn by the Charite clinic in Berlin, which identified the poisons detected.
"Our German partners did not provide any information," Peskov said.
