MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - The State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee recommended on Wednesday that the State Duma adopt the bill ratifying the agreement on the extension of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START).
The Russian president submitted the relevant document to the State Duma in the evening of January 26.
The bill envisages the extension of the New START for five years, until February 2026.
