DONETSK. Jan 28 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) could hold yet another referendum on the future of Donbas, DPR leader Denis Pushilin said.
"We're ready, if it becomes necessary, to hold one more referendum in the presence of all international observers in order to confirm that this [the results of the May 11, 2014 referendum] is the true choice of Donbas. The questions that could be asked in such a referendum are absolutely obvious. They will concern, should one take place, only the future of Donbas," Pushilin told Interfax on Thursday.
The possibility of another referendum was mentioned earlier by the foreign minister of the DPR, Natalia Nikonorova, at a UN Security Council meeting held in the Arria format.
