Moscow to observe Constitution while developing relations with Japan - Putin

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Russia intends to develop relations with Japan, but will not do anything that contradicts the country's Constitution, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We want to develop relations with Japan and we will develop, but we will not do anything that contradicts the Main Law of the Russian Federation," Putin said at a session with the heads of the Russian media on February 10.
