Roscosmos to launch 12 Soyuz-2 rockets from Baikonur in 2021

MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Twelve Soyuz-2 rockets will be launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome's Site 31 in 2021, head of the Center for Operation of Space Ground-based Infrastructure (TsENKI) Ruslan Mukhamedzhanov said.

"Twelve launches will be performed from this site. There will be both federal launches and commercial ones, OneWeb," Mukhamedzhanov said on the Roscosmos-TV YouTube channel.

A Soyuz-2.1a LV coupled with the Progress MS-16 resupply ship blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Monday. The flight will take two days, and the ship will dock with the International Space Station (ISS) in the morning of February 17.
