MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is briefed daily on socially significant publications, including those regarding the case of Ivan Safronov, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Indeed, the president is briefed daily on all publications on this issue [the Safronov case], same as major publications associated with the sociopolitical agenda. They are put on his table. Sometimes, the president has no time to thoroughly study them for objective reasons. But at least all that is accessible to the president," Peskov told journalists on Tuesday.
Journalists asked Peskov whether the president received information about the case of journalist, advisor to the Roscosmos head Ivan Safronov, who had been charged with treason, from sources other than the Federal Security Service.
