Armenian National Security Service warns citizens it will respond to illegal actions

YEREVAN. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The Armenian National Security Service has urged the population to abstain from illegal actions.

"We call for abstaining from any actions that might endanger national security and warn that the law enforcement authorities will give a proper response to any illegal actions," the service said in a statement.

The National Security Service urged citizens "not to yield to provocations."

"Such illegal actions may endanger Armenia's security, and any step of the kind could be viewed as a concrete aspiration to weaken the state. The Armenian authorities are performing their functions to the fullest extent," it said.
