BAKU. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan has returned all prisoners of war to Armenia, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.
"We have handed over all prisoners of war and all bodies to Armenia. After the war, the bodies of over 1,000 Armenian servicemen were found through the common efforts of representatives of the Armenian side, the peacekeeping mission, and our representatives and handed over to the Armenian side. We act consistent with moral norms, as well as the norms of universal human behavior," Aliyev said.
More than 60 Armenian servicemen captured by Azerbaijan after the end of hostilities are saboteurs and cannot be described as prisoners of war, he said.
