YEREVAN. March 2 (Interfax) - Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has decided not to sign a request by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on discharging Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff Onik Gasparyan.
"The president of the republic has decided not to sign a draft decree," the presidential press service said on Tuesday.
This was Pashinyan's second request on discharging Gasparyan.
Sarkissian has appealed to the Constitutional Court to settle the matter, the press service said.
