U.S. Department of Treasury announces sanctions against Kiriyenko, Bortnikov, another 5 Russians

WASHINGTON. March 2 (Interfax) - The Department of the Treasury of the United States has announced sanctions against First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko and Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov.

According to the list published by the Department of the Treasury, restrictive measures have also been imposed on deputy defense ministers Alexei Krivoruchko and Pavel Popov, Federal Penitentiary Service Director Alexander Kalashnikov, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, and head of the Russian presidential administration's domestic policy directorate Andrei Yarin.
