MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Electronic warfare units have started a camp exercise in the Kaliningrad region to practice jamming a simulated enemy's communications, Russia's Baltic Fleet reported on Wednesday.

"Over a month, the troops will practice radio-electronic coverage and camouflaging of various facilities from missile and air strikes and jamming a simulated enemy's networks and communication lines," the fleet said.

The units will employ Zhitel automated jamming systems, Borisoglebsk-1 systems, Lava-RP cellular communications jamming systems, and other equipment, it said.

"Over 100 troops and over 30 items of military and special hardware will be engaged in the field camp," the fleet said.
