Poland expelling Belarusian diplomat

MINSK. March 10 (Interfax) - Warsaw has declared a Belarusian diplomat persona non grata in retaliation against yesterday's expulsion of a Polish diplomat from Minsk.

"Poland declared a diplomat of the Belarusian embassy in Warsaw persona non grata today in retaliation against the hostile and groundless actions of the Belarusian authorities against the Polish consul in Brest," Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz said on Twitter.

The relevant information was presented in a diplomatic note during a meeting at the Polish Foreign Ministry, Przydacz said.
