Patrushev, Vietnamese PM discuss anti-coronavirus measures

HANOI. March 17 (Interfax) - Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, who is in Hanoi on a working visit, have discussed the intensification of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation, including in the fight against coronavirus.

"The meeting addressed some key issues related to bilateral cooperation, including trade-economic relations, as well as measures to contain the spread of coronavirus," the Russian Security Council's press service said.

The Vietnamese prime minister said Vietnam attaches a great deal of importance to the development of traditional friendship and cooperation with Russia. "We are for the development of relations with Russia on all tracks, including in the spheres of trade and economy, as well as for further development of bilateral partnership in the sphere of defense and security," he said.
