Russian Foreign Ministry hopes for constructive atmosphere during next parliamentary elections in Armenia

MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - Moscow is hoping that the coming early parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held in a constructive atmosphere, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"We're hoping that the pre-election period will take place in a constructive atmosphere aimed at attaining a long-term result," Zakharova said at a press briefing in Moscow on Thursday.

"We regard the decision to hold early parliamentary elections in 2021 as an internal affair of Armenia," she said.
