MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov has not briefed President Vladimir Putin on the current situation in Russia-U.S. relations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"No, he has not made the report just yet," Peskov told reporters on Monday, in response to the relevant question.
"Reports are constantly being made by the Foreign Ministry and special agencies," he said.
"An analysis is being conducted, and all actions taken by the Americans within the new administration's framework are being reviewed. It will take time to complete this analysis and, clearly, decisions on how to build our course of action will be made after that," Peskov said.
Antonov arrived in Moscow on March 21. He was recalled for consultations after U.S. President Joe Biden had made a number of high-profile statements regarding Russia and its leaders, which the Kremlin described as "very bad."
