MINSK. March 31 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree "On the use of special measures" on March 30, the Belarusian presidential press service said on Tuesday.
"The decree envisages imposing a ban on the import of certain categories of goods to the country, as well as on the import of works and services performed by legal entities and individuals from states which have taken special measures (sanctions) against Belarusian legal entities or individuals," the press service said.
The decree was passed in order to ensure security and protect the national interests of Belarus, it said.
The Belarusian Council of Ministers will determine the specific list of goods, works and services, and, if necessary, foreign legal entities and individuals.
