Schools in Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk evacuate over anonymous bomb threats

KRASNOYARSK. April 5 (Interfax) - Krasnoyarsk schools have received a number of anonymous bomb threats; students are being evacuated, and classes have been cancelled, the city administration's press service said on Monday.

"According to the police department, anonymous bomb threats have been received by Krasnoyarsk schools. Students are being evacuated and sent home," the press service said.

Emergency services are examining the school buildings. Parents of the students, who attend classes in the second shift, will be informed whether classes will be held today after the examination is over, the press service said.

The number of evacuated Krasnoyarsk schools remains unknown.

Over half of Khabarovsk schools were evacuated earlier on Monday for the same reason. All bomb threats turned out to be false.
