MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - The Russian government will soon submit a draft decree on the transition of critical information infrastructure (CII) facilities to Russian software and microelectronics, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the implementation of instructions contained in the Address to the Federal Assembly in 2019 and 2020.
"The government will soon submit a draft decree for your approval, according to which within three to four years all software and microelectronics at critical infrastructure facilities should be Russian only," Chernyshenko told the president.
