The costs of organizing remote work for people older than 60 during the pandemic were a blow to the budget of the state corporation, Ovchinnikov said. In total, Roscosmos lost around seven billion rubles over the pandemic.
According to the state corporation's annual report for 2019, the average age of employees of Roscosmos and its enterprises was 45.4. The enterprises had a total of 195,800 employees, of which 56% were men and 44 % were women. The average wage of employees was 62,300 rubles in 2019.
