NATO countries turning Ukraine into powder keg - Russian Deputy FM Ryabkov (Part 2)

MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - The United States and other NATO countries are stepping up arms supplies to Ukraine, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"These supplies have continued, and the volume of this aid has been growing. The United States and other NATO countries are purposefully turning Ukraine into a powder keg," Ryabkov told journalists on Tuesday.

Over years, Ukraine has conducted training sessions and set up facilities negatively affecting Russia's security, Ryabkov said. "Training activities have been intensified, and a network of bio-labs has been established, which pursue projects that cause our alarm and concern, to put it mildly," he said.

"Put together, all of this poses a serious challenge to our security. We urge the NATO countries once again [...] to care about making sure that the Minsk Package of Measures is implemented," he said.
